DESCRIPTION:Gather with us on October 22nd for our Big Tuesday open conversation focused on the topic of engaging with our democracy. Join NAFCM and a few of our NAFCM partners for discussions related to how we\, through our separate and collective work\, engage with the democratic process. \nWe will begin at 7 PM ET and for 75 minutes discuss the many activities happening leading up to and after the election\, including short presentations from agencies working on the election\, as well as both large and small group discussions. We plan to conclude the event on a forward-looking and hopeful note by discussing action steps and productive approaches in our partners’ and members’ work post-election. \nRegister here.

DESCRIPTION:We intend to hold a Day of Non Violence in the Kasoa\, a peri-urban town in the Awutu Senya East Municipal District of the greater Accra region of Ghana with three major activities. \nThe program will begin with a Non Violence sport/ games using the Ubabalo Whole Life coaching methodology followed by a face to face town hall (workshop) meeting using the practical lessons learned from the games as the focal point for discussion after which we will do an art competition intended to make the kids to graphically express the concepts of Non Violence they have gathered.
