October 14 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm CDT
Virtual Event
Free

Join us for a 2 hour interactive webinar on Intimate Partner Violence: Pathway to Healing and Support. There will be a panel discussion followed by a Q & A session.

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Define intimate partner violence (IPV) and identify the various forms it takes
beyond physical abuse (e.g., emotional, financial, sexual, psychological).
2. Recognize the signs and patterns of IPV across diverse communities,
cultures, and genders.
3. Explore culturally relevant approaches to healing and support, especially for
Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
4. Understand the unique challenges survivors face in seeking support,
including stigma, fear, legal barriers, and access to culturally competent
resources.
5. Hear real-world examples of how advocacy, faith-based support, and
community engagement contribute to healing and prevention.
6. Examine the intersection of IPV and incarceration, and how systemic
inequities impact survivor outcomes.
7. Encourage community involvement and prevention strategies, including
mentorship, awareness programs, and cross-sector collaboration.
