Month of Non-Violence Theme

October 2026 is the “15th Annual Month of Non-Violence, Voter Rights, Self-Worth and Understanding Ethical AI.” It is a national movement centered on peacebuilding, civic engagement, ethical technology, and human dignity. Grounded in the belief that nonviolence is both a personal and collective responsibility, this initiative promotes self-worth, peace circles, understanding ethical AI, and informed civic participation as pathways toward stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

This Leadership Publication has been prepared for our national partners to support implementation of the 15th Annual Month of Non-Violence. It provides practical leadership guidance for municipalities, chambers of commerce, businesses, and community organizations committed to advancing peace, civic engagement, self-worth, and responsible innovation within their communities. We invite everyone to recite the Peace Pledge and post it on social media.
